IND vs ENG TEST : It was confirmed by the BCCI itself on Twitter that Nitish Kumar Reddy and Arshdeep Singh have been officially dropped from the Anderson and Tendulkar Trophy. This could be a major setback for India in the 4th Test match.

BCCI confirms Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the fourth Test between India and England due to a knee injury and has been brought back to India from England in test series.

The BCCI has issued a statement saying that Indian off-spinner Arshdeep Singh has been officially ruled out of the fourth Test against England, which begins on Wednesday at Old Trafford in Manchester, after he received stitches on his hand while trying to block a net practice shot from Sai Sudarshan.

“Arshdeep Singh will not play in the fourth Test match against England in Manchester. During a training session in Beckenham, he bowled in the nets and suffered an impact injury to his left thumb. The BCCI Medical Team is keeping an eye on his growth”.read the BCCI press release.

Anshul Kamboj has arrived from Haryana to make his Test debut. He will join in the 4th Test, replacing Arshdeep.

“Anshul Kamboj was invited to join the team by the Men’s Selection Committee. In the release, BCCI stated that Kamboj has joined the team in Manchester.

Shubman Gill (captain), Rishabh Pant (VC & WK), Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Karun Nair, Ravindra Jadeja, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Akash Deep, Kuldeep Yadav, and Anshul Kamboj include India’s updated squad for the fourth Test.
